  [🕊️QT Meditation] Why Did It Have to Be Melchizedek? The writer of Hebrews speaks clearly: "Jesus was designated by God to be High Priest in the order of Melchizedek"  (Hebrews 5:10; 7:17, 21). This isn't just symbolic. It's a divine declaration that Jesus accomplished what the Levitical priesthood never could — He fully and finally dealt with the problem of sin. 1. The Limitations of Human Priests For thousands of years,  the people of Israel lived under the Levitical priesthood . Yet they  never experienced full forgiveness or true salvation . Levitical priests were human, sinful, and  temporary . Their sacrifices  only brought  temporary  atonement , and because they eventually died, they couldn’t serve as ongoing mediators. This system could never  permanently bring people into the presence of God . It was, by nature, incomplete.

  [Hebrews 6 QT Meditation] In a Shaken World, Hold Fast to God’s Unshakable Promise ● Why are we still stuck in the same place? Many of us, even after years of following Christ, still feel like spiritual infants. We struggle to truly read the Word, our prayers feel dry, and our faith gets tossed around by every breeze of hardship. Despite daily resolutions to change, our inner selves feel hollow, and spiritual progress seems non-existent. We long to grow closer to God, but life’s weight and our own weaknesses knock us down again and again. Hebrews 6 speaks directly to this struggle:  “ Let us move beyond the elementary teachings and be taken forward to maturity ”  (Heb. 6:1). Scripture calls us with urgency: Don’t stay where you are — move toward spiritual maturity. Yet we cry out, “ How ? How can I move forward when everything around me — and within me — keeps shaking?”

[선한 영향력을 남기는 참 리더(지도자)] 디모데전서 3장 묵상 : 선한 영향력을 남기는 삶, 진짜 리더의 조건 (글 그림 : 건주부, 그림 출처 : Cnava) 1. 이것은 믿을 만한 말이다. 곧 ' 사람이 감독의 직분을 간절히 사모하면 그는 선한 일을 열망하고 있다 ​ '는 것이다. ​ 2. 그러므로  감독 은 비난받을 일이 없고 한 아내의  ​ 남편이며 절제하며 신중하며 단정하며 나그네를 잘 대접하며 가르치기를 잘하며 ​ 3.   술을 즐기지 않으며 폭력적이지 않으며 온유하며 싸우지 않으며   돈을 사랑하지 않으며 ​ 4.  ​ 자기 집안을 잘 다스리며  자녀들을 모든 단정함 가운데 복종하게 하는 사람이어야 한다. ​ 5.  사람이 자기 집안을 다스릴 줄 알지 못하면 어떻게 하나님의 교회를 돌볼 수 있겠는가 ? ​ 6. 또 개종한 지 얼마 되지 않은 사람도 안 된다. 이것은 그가  교만 해져서 마귀의 정죄에 빠질 우려가 있기 때문이다. ​ 7. 또한 믿지 않는 사람들에게서도   좋은 평판 ​ 을 받는 사람이라야 한다. 이는 그가  비방과 마귀의 덫 에 걸리지 않게 하기 위한 것이다. ​ 8.  마찬가지로 집사들도 존경할 만하고 한 입으로 두말을 하지 않으며 술에 중독되지 않고 부당한 이득을 탐내지 않으며 ​ 9.  깨끗한 양심에 믿음의 비밀 을 간직한 사람이라야 한다. ​ 10. 이런 사람들은 먼저 시험해 보고 그 후에 책망할 것이 없으면 집사의 직분을 맡게 하여라 ​ 11. 이와 같이 여자들도 존경할 만하고 남을 헐뜯지 않으며 절제하고 모든 일에 믿을 만한 사람이라...

  [ 🕊️QT 묵상]  주의 은혜로 구원받은 자, 이제는 선한 일에 열심을 내야 할 때입니다 디도서 2장 11~14절 말씀 묵상 ​ Title:  Saved by Grace—Now Is the Time to Be Zealous for Good Works Meditation on Titus 2:11–14 ❖ 우리는 왜 여전히 흔들릴까요?   디도서 2장 묵상 : 주의 은혜로 구원을 받은 자, 선한 일에 열심을 내라 (글 그림 : 건주부, 그림 출처 : Canva) 치열한 일상 속에서 우리는 매일같이 “ 나는 과연 구원받은 자의 삶을 살고 있는가? ”라는 질문 앞에 멈춰 섭니다. 분명 주님의 은혜로 말미암아 구원을 받았고, 하나님의 백성으로 택함을 입었는데…  왜 우리는 여전히 세상의 정욕과 욕망 앞에 약해지는 것일까요? 세상은 달콤합니다. 편안함과 쾌락, 인정받고 싶은 욕구는 때론 신앙보다 앞서 작동합니다. 그러다 보면, 은혜로 구원받았다는 복된 진리는 흐릿해지고, 우리는 다시금 우리의 자격을 증명하려 하거나 종교적 열심 속에 스스로를 가두기도 합니다. “나는 하나님의 자녀가 맞는가?” 이 의문은 자주 우리를 흔들고 지치게 만듭니다. ​ Why do we still waver? In the midst of our busy daily lives, we often pause and ask ourselves,  " Am I really living the life of someone who has been saved? " Though we have clearly been saved by the grace of the Lord and chosen as God's people,  why do we still find ourselves weakened by worldly desires and cravings ? The world is alluring.
